trip
neap low tide during the night, out on deck with the spotlight, looking
up at the beach, where i landed the rubber ducky during the day was
a good 4metres above my head & steep, i could almost touch this wall of
sand with my boat hook, fascinating. today there was no significant wind
and i managed to cruise along at 1-3kn, the beach i had hoped to reach
is 6nm sth of here and not worth the 3hrs it would have taken to get
there. this spot is scenic enough and deserted now the cruise ship has
left. went ashore took the snorkel, freezing water. terrific sunset.
